Home remedies for skin
You sure want to look you best when you step
out of your home after a long time. The summers in India can be relentless and
they’re getting hotter every year. The skin has to bear the brunt of the
scorching heat, which can be a nightmare for a beauty conscious person. So now
that you have been at home for more than 2 months due to the lockdown, let’s
raid the kitchen for some ingredients to put those grandma’s recipes into use.
In this article, we cover some ways in which you can prevent skin damage as well
as some ways in which you can rejuvenate your skin and make it glow.
- Anti-Tanning
scrub
Take two spoons of oatmeals and add a spoon of milk to it. Now add some orange pulp, a little bit of tomato juice, and some poppy seeds. Now mix everything to form a thick density face pack and apply it to your face and neck. Leave it to dry and scrub it off while rinsing. The orange and tomato extracts will help brighten your skin while the milk adds glow to it.
- Cucumber for
Glowing Skin
This helps cool your skin in the summers. Its antioxidants help replenish and rejuvenate the dull and dry skin by removing the dirt and opening the clogged pores. It improves skin complexion and reduces the swelling on the face.
To prepare a mask, take 2-3 spoons of yogurt and grate a small cucumber in it. Now apply the mask on your face and massage in circular motions. Keep it for 5 mins and wash it with water afterward
- Wash your
face regularly
Wash your face with cold water to remove the sweat and dust that accumulates on the face. Apply cold milk using a cotton ball or spray rose water stored in a spray bottle daily on your face. Also, to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun, apply sunscreen of minimum 30 SPF before you step out
These skincare routines help you keep your
skin healthy, soft, supple, and smooth and should be done regularly in summers
