The brain is like a muscle, if you don’t give it a regular workout, it loses its tone. It is important for the brain to stay curious and get a variety of tasks. If there is any task that you brain has become used to, then you should change it. Curiosity about the tasks that you do, how things work or about anything else makes you curious will keep your brain working fast, properly and efficiently. Here are a few things you can do to maintain your mental health

  1. Get enough sleep

    Meditation is like workout for your brain. It helps you keep your brain healthy and relax. This takes your mind into a different mental state where you can engage your brain and increase your brain fitness

  3. Eat food for your brain
    It is important for you to eat healthy fats. Eat a lot of nuts like walnuts and almonds, flax seeds, and olive oil. You should eat more of this healthy food that help you brain recover and function better while avoiding less saturated fats. It is suggested that a person should completely eliminate trans fats from their diet

  4. Engage in a physical workout
    It is important for your body to be physically fit at the same time. This process delivers oxygen to the brain which helps improve the reaction times and reasoning capabilities and memory. It is also proven that if you take a 20-minute walk every day surrounded by greenery, it will help you reduce your stress levels

  5. Learn new skills
    Whenever you engage your brain in doing something different, you work multiple areas of the brain. You start engaging your memory and learn new movements. Simple activities like reading a book or creating something useful out of waste can also help your brain function better
