    How chickpeas help with weight loss

    Courtin-Clarins highlights findings from six clinical studies that show regular consumption of chickpeas can lower body fat percentage. The high fibre and protein content make chickpeas a highly satiating food, which helps curb overeating without needing to restrict calories. This effect is similar to that of lentils, which also aid weight loss when prepared in light, balanced dishes.
