Two months after its April 2026 release, the Michael Jackson biopic Michael has become the highest-grossing biographical film in cinema history, surpassing Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer with a worldwide total of $977 million. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Jaafar Jackson, the film has now overtaken Bohemian Rhapsody and Oppenheimer to claim the record.
