The sebaceous glands are overactive which produces excessive sebum making your face look greasy and giving rise to skin concerns like blackheads, acne, clogged pores, etc.

  1. Cleansing
It is important to cleanse your face and it should be done 2-3 times a day which helps get rid of all the excessive oil and dirt that gets accumulated leading to acne and clogged pores. Use gel-based or foam cleansers or products that contain Honey, Tee tree oil, Neem, Turmeric, Salicylic Acid

  4. Moisturise
If you don’t moisturise, the sebaceous glands will produce more oil to compensate. Contrary to what people might believe, oily skin also needs moisturisation and hydration. It is best to opt for a water-based moisturiser that is oil-free and non-comedogenic

  5. Apply sunscreen
