Massage therapy has become very popular in recent years as a way to alleviate many aches and pains. Not only does massage relieve muscular pain but a good massage performed by a qualified massage therapist can also have a very positive effect on reducing stress levels and improving your immune system. Healing injuries and retaining muscle and joint mobility are also accredited to massages.

There are numerous massage techniques available and each one tends to focus on a different part of the body and or mind.

I have compiled a short list of each massage technique and the benefits you may expect from each.

1/.Swedish Massage:
Swedish massages primarily focus on relaxation or deep tissue manipulation and they concentrate on loosening muscle tissues up. This is particularly useful for tired and sore muscles. Deep tissue massage that can be a little painful and should only be used if recommended by your doctor.

2/.Cranio-Sacral Massage:
A Cranio-Sacral massage will focus on your neck, head, and spine to get it functioning correctly and to restore  the right alignment again. Additionally, a Cranio-Sacral massage will assist to loosen up the tight muscles in the body. 

3/.Chi Nei Tsang Massage
Chi Nei Tsang massage is massage technique that focuses on your abdominal organs and is claimed to alleviate digestive pain or disease.

4/. The Trager Massage Approach
The Trager Approach is said to improve your overall wellbeing when it is done the right way. If your joints are  giving you the problem, you may wish to consider the Trager approach. It is often used connection with Swedish  massage to target problem areas and relax the entire body.

5/.The Rosen Massage Method
Primarily used to relax the whole body and relieve stress.

6/.The Rolfing Massage Method
The Rolfing Massage Method works to align your tissues the correct way to straighten up your spine. Having  undergone the Rolfing Massage Technique, you should feel better, not worse.
