Fish is fantastic. It's high in omega-3 essential fatty acids that are good for your skin, your brain and will help keep your heart healthy. Fish is also low in calories as long as you don't fry it or drown it in heavy cream sauces. Oily ocean fish like herring, tuna and salmon are great sources of omega-3 essential fatty acids. Try a salmon steak or a tuna sandwich on whole grain bread instead of a greasy hamburger.
If fish is not your thing, try walnuts, soy, canola oil and flax seeds to get your omega-3 essential fatty acids.
